Dr. Janet Stout Everly, EdD has written hundreds of successfully funded USDA grants. She has secured funding for the James Whitcomb Riley Hospital for Children and assisted in numerous grant projects for Indiana University. She received her B.S. degree from Indiana University and M.S. from University of Indianapolis in Occupational Therapy. Dr. Everly completed her doctoral degree at Indiana University. She acquired training and experience in grant writing through her work as a tenured professor at Indiana University. During her tenure at IU, she spoke internationally and authored approximately 30 peer-reviewed scientific publications. Dr. Everly received grants, teaching and service awards, and the national Community Connection Award from the American Occupational Therapy Association.
Work experience includes being Co-owner of EIM, LLC from 2002 to present; Assistant Manager/Grant Writer at EIM from January of 2009 to the present; 2004 to 2008, Associate Professor in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, Indiana University, Indianapolis, IN; Owner and Manager of “OT Indy” in Indianapolis, 1996 to present; 1987 to 1998 Assistant then Associate Professor in the School of Allied Health Sciences in the School of Medicine, Indiana University Indianapolis, IN.
