Mr. Huff, a Vice President with SCS Engineers, has over 30 years of experience in environmental consulting, specializing in waste industry issues, including facility greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions quantification, sustainability reporting, air quality assessment, regulatory compliance, and post-closure care. He is the closed landfill regulatory compliance and GHG emissions quantification Project Lead within SCS’s offices throughout the western U.S., responsible for technical expertise on landfill post-closure care and redevelopment, landfill reactions (chemical and oxidation-based), emissions quantification, and landfill regulatory compliance. Mr. Huff is also the National Lead for compliance with the federal Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program (GHGRP) within SCS, responsible for quantifying and reporting for more than 600 of the 900 landfills subject to the GHGRP. Because of this expertise, Mr. Huff has worked with the solid waste industry and the USEPA with data evaluation which resulted in the modification of the federal GHG reporting regulation.Sessions
