Steve Vrchota is the current director of Pope/Douglas Solid Waste Management, a Resource Recovery Facility located rural Minnesota. He has more than 30 years of experience in the fields of solid waste processing and energy recovery. His experience includes boiler engineer, project management and plant manager. Steve now directs the operations of many solid waste and recycling departments, including household hazardous waste, county wide recycling, a waste-to-energy facility, and a rapidly growing organics composting operation.
