George Aronson is a principal of CommonWealth Resource Management Corporation, with over 35 years of experience with emerging technologies for alternative electricity production and solid waste management. Mr. Aronson has worked for Maine municipalities on development of a facility in Hampden, Maine, using Fiberight technology to process MSW into commodities, cellulose pulp and fuel products. The facility, which began accepting MSW in April 2019, but suspended operations in May 2020, is being redeveloped with a new owner. Other projects have involved mass-burn and RDF combustion, landfill gas recovery, anaerobic digestion, mixed-MSW composting and landfill leachate treatment. He has also worked on a waste management with the City of Yancheng, Jiangsu Province, Republic of China.Mr. Aronson has a mechanical engineering degree from MIT and a master of public policy degree from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
