Joe has extensive experience as an executive leader of various municipal programs including Solid Waste, Fleet Services, Environmental Programs and Facilities Management. In July 2017, Joe was selected to serve the City of Phoenix as Assistant Public Works Director responsible for all Solid Waste programs and services. A primary focus for Joe is supporting the Reimagine Phoenix Initiative, which is focused on developing a circular economy, wherein the solid waste resources people discard are recovered and remanufactured into new products promoting waste diversion, resource preservation, and economic development.
