Rich has over 20 years as a pioneer, innovator, and thought leader in sustainable and compostable packaging systems. He is an environmentalist with professional experience in executive management, strategy, and technology. In 2000, well ahead of the sustainability and climate change movement, he founded the first company focused exclusively on compostable and sustainable packaging. His company is well-recognized as a leading innovator, introducing many compostable firsts including: adhesive labels, flexible packaging, coffee bags, and child-resistant cannabis packaging. Elevate’s mission is to eliminate the wasteful packaging and re-enrich the earth. Rich has a masters in engineering management from Northwestern University, and winner of the Harvard University AI Business Strategy Simulation in Competing in the Age of AI.
