Steven Menoff, P.E., is a Senior Vice President with Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), where he serves as the corporate Solid Waste Market Group lead. He draws from four decades of experience to guide CEC’s activities in the Solid Waste market. This includes focusing on new capabilities, strategic new hires, and geographic expansion. Mr. Menoff was a key contributor to the movement that transitioned landfills to the sophisticated environmental management systems of today, and he was involved in the development of both Subtitle C and D regulations and guidance documents. He was co-founder of the Global Waste Management Symposium and has served on the Business Committee since its inception. He is a member of the EREF Research Council, serving as chairman in 2015, and a member of SWANA, where he’s active in the Landfill Technical Division. Mr. Menoff has served as Chairman of the National Waste and Recycling Association (NWRA) Landfill Institute since 1995 and received the Association’s Distinguished Service Award in 2001. In 2018, he was inducted into the NWRA Hall of Fame.Sessions
