Michael “Recycle” Benedetto is a fourth Generation Recycler that has been working in their family business, TFC Recycling, since the 1980’s. With the help of talented industry veterans, TFC has grown from a small recycling company with a handful of employees in 1973, to a full service collection and recycling business that employs over 400 people and operates over 150 trucks each day.
TFC Recycling has operations in the Richmond, Chesapeake and Virginia Peninsula markets. TFC collects waste and recyclables from over 5,000 business and over 600,000 households, and processes over 12,000 tons per month of recyclables, most of which is exported for recycling.
