Ryan Butler is the head of Specialized Markets for Cottingham & Butler (C&B), the 5th largest privately and independently held insurance services firm in the country. Ryan oversees C&B’s Waste and Recycling practice, which specializes in helping Waste haulers better manage their loss exposures, structure optimal insurance programs and drastically reduce the total cost of insurance over the long run. Prior to joining C&B, Ryan was a Lloyd’s of London and reinsurance underwriter for the world’s largest specialized insurance distributor, and previously worked in financial sector. Ryan has a Master’s of Science degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor’s degree from Trinity College (CT).
