Session Number: W214
Description California will invest more than $200 million this year in infrastructure and projects that will help the state meet its recycling goals and recycled content requirements. As the fifth-largest economy in the world with some of the most aggressive targets for landfill diversion, recycling and use of recycled content resin, California is leading the way toward a future where investment in waste and recycling infrastructure is the shared responsibility of many public and private stakeholders.
Join California officials and learn about the state’s most popular financial incentive programs for recyclers, including sales and use tax exclusion on recycling equipment as well as grants for organics recycling infrastructure. Also learn which programs have been the most successful and why California sees the recycling industry as ripe for investment opportunity.
