Profile

Kevin Torrens has over 38 years of experience in industrial wastewater, leachate treatment, O&M, and groundwater treatment projects. He holds a Master’s Degree from Vanderbilt University in Environmental and Water Resources Engineering and is located in Brown and Caldwell’s office in Ramsey, New Jersey. Kevin has had significant experience treating complex wastewaters such as those from landfill leachate, pharmaceuticals and chemicals industries. Kevin’s industrial wastewater background is aligned with his role as the National Market Sector Leader for leachate management at Brown and Caldwell. Interests related to leachate management include regulatory, technical, alternatives evaluations, project delivery, system optimization and research and development. He has conducted research and numerous projects related to PFAS in leachate.
