Profile

Chris Hawn, a seasoned leader in the waste and recycling industry, currently serves as the CEO of Machinex Technologies. Since assuming this role in September 2017, Chris has been instrumental in driving the company's growth and innovation. His journey with Machinex began in 2010 as the North American Sales Manager, where he significantly expanded the company's market presence. In 2016, he was promoted to Executive Vice-President Sales & Business Development, showcasing his strategic acumen. Before joining Machinex, Chris excelled at Vecoplan, LLC, serving as the Director of Business Development from April 1999 to January 2010. Prior to that, he was the Tex America Recycling Equipment Sales Manager from June 1994 to April 1999, specializing in equipment for post-consumer plastics transformation. Chris's industry contributions were recognized with the NWRA Suppliers Distinguished Service Award in 2021. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Appalachian State University (1992).
