Jonathan Deutsch, Ph.D., is a Professor of Food and Hospitality and Program Director of Food Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Drexel University in Philadelphia. A Certified Research Chef, Deutsch runs the Drexel Food Lab, a food product development and culinary innovation lab that engages students to focus on projects that improve the food system, including upcycled food product development. He was the founding president of the Upcycled Food Foundation and was named a Food Waste Warrior by Foodtank and a James Beard Foundation Impact Fellow.Sessions
