Amanda Curtis joined American Waste Control in 2011 and has been an integral part of the team ever since. With a career in the waste industry starting in 2009, Amanda now serves as a waste and recycling consultant for American Waste Control, bringing her expertise and experience to help clients with their waste management needs.
Starting her career in customer service and sales, Amanda's passion for the work and building connections led her to the waste industry. She takes pride in representing AWC, a company that values customer satisfaction and supports professional growth.
Amanda has achieved notable accomplishments, including graduating from Leadership Broken Arrow and serving as an IRONMAN Environmental Captain. She is an active member of the NWRA Women's Council and is the current Chair of the Professional Development Committee. Amanda is also involved with the Tulsa Christmas Parade committee and board since 2013, highlighting her love for community engagement. As she continues to grow professionally, Amanda aspires to be a leader and mentor for women in the industry. Outside of work, Amanda enjoys music, audiobooks, paddleboarding, and traveling. Her favorite moments are spent with her husband, Joe, and their two daughters, Alivia and Amelia.
