Profile

John Sliwicki leads the LRS Post-Collection business; comprised of 3 Single-Stream MRF’s (5 by the end of 2022), 6 C&D MRF’s, 14 Transfer Stations, and 3 landfills. Joining LRS in 2016, Sliwicki has over 23 years in the Waste and Construction industries (18 in Safety and Risk Management, 5+ heading up Operations). Combining his experience in Safety, Insurance and Emergency Management, with Business Leadership and P&L Ownership, he continues to drive the evolution of Post-Collections Operations and Sustainability at LRS.

John has his MBA from Indiana University’s – Kelly School of Business. He also serves on the National board of the CDRA, and the IL Chapter of SWANA (the last 4+ as Safety Ambassador); including active involvement in several sub-committees addressing recycling and legislative initiatives.
