Paul Kuhar, Vice President of Champion Waste & Recycling Services a leader in waste diversion and recycling saw a need to provide turnkey recycling solutions for its customers. Starting with only 2 trucks, a dozen containers with his wife Michelle and guidance from his in-laws Frank and Carol, they quickly built a successful company servicing the North Texas area changing the landscape of how waste and recycle materials are serviced and processed over 20 years ago.
Today, Champion has more than 140 employees, four recycling plants including a Commercial MRF (Material Recovery Facility), C&D Recycling Facility, Compost Facility, and a Wood Processing facility that includes the first Biochar processing facility in North Texas.
Paul studied at the Art of Institute of Dallas majoring in Graphic Design and animation a skill set he uses for Champion’s business development needs including web design and various social media platforms.
When he is not tackling waste and recycling solutions for Champion’s customers, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife Michelle, President of Champion Waste & Recycling Services, and their four children in their hometown of McKinney, TX.
