David Tonjes is the Director of the Waste Data and Analysis Center and is an Associate Research Professor in the Department of Technology and Society, Stony Brook University. He has been conducting research in solid waste planning and impacts from waste management for over 30 years. He passionately believes that public policy decisions need to be guided by data derived from sound research.
