Profile
Peter is a seasoned entrepreneur with experience with private, venture capital, strategic, and private equity partners who has commercialized technology which has been disruptive to large and mature commercial markets. Fiberspar became one of the fasting growing oil field service companies after developing, and commercializing high pressure spoolable pipe which was used to replace welded steel pipelines for oil and gas production in-field gathering. Fiberspar was acquired in 2012 by National Oil Well Varco (NYSE:NOV). In August, 2016, Peter became CEO and Chairman of Loci Controls, Inc., www.locicontrols.com, a Massachusetts headquartered, cloud connected technology enabled services business focused on maximizing methane capture, and emission reduction at landfills. Loci has commercialized IoT control technology to improve the collection of landfill gas (approximately 50% methane) from landfills. Landfills are the third largest source of methane emissions, and account for over 100 Million Metric tons of GHG emissions annually. On just the initial 12 landfills where Loci is operating, GHG emissions have been reduced by over 750,000 Metric Tons/Year, equivalent to the emissions of over 150,000 passenger vehicles driven annually. Peter has a BS in Ocean Engineering, and completed one year of graduate school at MIT under the Robert Bruce Wallace Prize, and has served on MIT’s Mechanical Engineering, and Student Life Visiting Committees.Sessions
