Martin (Marty) Munch

Profile

Martin Munch is Director of the Bureau of Building Maintenance at the NYC Department of Sanitation (DSNY). This year, Mr. Munch celebrates his 15th year with DSNY. Marty has a combined 25 years of experience in facility operations and maintenance. In addition to operating and maintaining 150+ facilities with a staff of 243, his bureau is also responsible in meeting NYC sustainability goals (Local Law 97) by reducing facility related greenhouse gases 80% by 2050. Marty and his team will also be responsible in building and expanding DSNY’s EVSE infrastructure.
