Ryan Cooper is the Director of Circular Economy Solutions and the Organics Recycling Lead at Rubicon. Ryan earned his bachelors in Globalization from Hampshire College and his masters in Regenerative Studies at Cal Poly Pomona, where his thesis focused on municipal composting and anaerobic digestion programs. He holds a Secretary position on the Board of Directors of the US Composting Council and is Chair of the Membership Committee, in addition to being a member of the Finance and Target Organics Committees. Prior to designing, implementing and managing thousands of organics recycling programs at Rubicon across the US and Canada, Ryan helped develop composting programs for businesses and municipalities at the Sustainable Packaging Coalition, established a state permitted composting facility in North Carolina, and wrote for BioCycle magazine.
