As the Director of Procurement and Community Engagement, Amanda Jerzak oversees the entire inflow of food in Three Square, from donated food to procurement and federal commodities. She also works alongside her team to determine how the food flows out into the community, allowing her to create new partnerships and support existing agencies to provide food assistance to underserviced areas.
After earning her bachelor’s degree in Electronic Media – Film from Evangel University, Amanda gained eight years of management experience at Wachovia Bank/Wells Fargo Bank. In 2017, once she had moved to Las Vegas, Amanda joined Three Square as a food handler in the food bank’s new Hot Food Rescue Program. After two years of transferring surplus food and developing the program, she became the manager and eventually took on a director’s position at Three Square to overlook additional revenues of food. In her position today, Amanda dedicates countless hours finding the best sources of product and fitting all the pieces together to ensure everyone has healthy access to food at all times. She is grateful for her position as it provides her the platform to fight on behalf of people who need help and gives her the opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life.
