Profile

Mike has more than 28 years of diverse environmental experience leading customer container solutions from manufacturing to market development. Most recently, Mike founded the Sierra Container Group in 2016. With a BS in Mechanical Engineering (Cal) and an MBA (UCLA), Mike has been able to apply a long-term and macro vision to providing value to the customer. Mike believes in “giving back” and “for the good of the industry” which is reflected through his commitment and involvement in several organizations. Mike is currently the Chair of the NWRA Supplier Board of Governors, is on the NWRA Board of Trustees, a member of the ANSI Standards Committee since 1994, past EREF Auction Chair, DCA Member, and on the planning Board for the Garbageman’s Invitational. Mike, along with his wife Liz and their three daughters, lives in the Pasadena CA area.
