Amanda Curtis joined the waste industry in 2009 and has since acquired a wealth of experience in waste management, recycling, and special waste disposal. She began by working in customer service and sales and is proud to have advanced her career and she is now a Waste and Recycling Consultant and Territory Manager for American Waste Control in Tulsa, OK. During her time in the industry she has been instrumental in developing several innovate, waste solutions for the Oklahoma area, including: pioneering the first single-stream recycling program at the first MRF in the state of Oklahoma; reducing carbon footprints and increasing efficiency with shared compactor programs: and introducing wood recycling to northeast Oklahoma.
Outside of her work, Amanda’s free time is to spent with her husband Joe, and their two daughters, Alivia and Amelia. Amanda has achieved several accolades in her career and hopes to continue being a leader for other women in this industry.
