Profile

Dan has over thirty years’ experience working for the City of Los Angeles, LA Sanitation and Environment, in the field of Solid Waste. His experience has ranged from landfill design to management of the City’s household hazardous waste (HHW) collection program. Dan is currently the Division Manager of the City of Los Angeles, LA Sanitation, Solid Resources Commercial Franchise Division responsible for the development and implementation of a new exclusive solid waste franchise system known as recycLA. RecycLA is one of largest franchise systems of its kind in the nation. The scale includes providing solid waste and recycling services, including the collection of organics, to over 65,000 accounts in eleven collection zones.
