Ryan Schoenike is the Co-founder of OceanCycle, a social enterprise reimagining the circular economy through sourcing, certifying and reusing materials to prevent ocean plastic pollution. Ryan has always had a passion for tying sustainability to business. Prior to OceanCycle, Ryan co-founded an eyewear company and released one of the first ocean-bound plastic products on the market. In his quest to end ocean plastic pollution, Ryan has traveled around the world engaging across the plastic value chain from working with local community collection networks to fortune 500 companies. Before his work in ocean plastic, Ryan founded a national campaign to educate Millennials on economic issues and he worked in the solar industry.
