Megan Morgan is a litigator and regulatory attorney experienced in enforcement defense, citizen suit defense, environmental, toxic tort and constitutional litigation. Her work covers a range of industries, including waste treatment, recycling and disposal services, transportation, manufacturing, raw materials processing, and oil and gas. American Lawyer awarded her team Runner-Up for Litigator of the Week after securing a ruling in Los Angeles Superior Court that struck down fees imposed on a landfill valued at over $200 million over the life of that landfill’s permit. She also advises on mandatory and voluntary reporting on areas such as climate change, human rights and materials sourcing, and sustainability. Megan was recognized in the second edition of “Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch” 2022 in the fields of corporate law and environmental law. Megan is a Principal in the Baltimore office of Beveridge & Diamond, P.C. Megan graduated from Boston College and the University of Maryland School of Law, and served as a judicial clerk to the District of Columbia Court of Appeals. She also holds a Masters of Business Administration from Georgetown University. Megan serves as the co-chair of the National Association of Women Lawyers’ Affinity Group, NAWLMoms, and the President of the Board of The Good Acre, a regional food hub located in the Twin Cities, Minnesota working to improve the local food system for diverse, independent farmers.Sessions
