John joined Waste Connections in 2011, serving as Operations Counsel and then Associate General Counsel – Director of Compliance. In February 2022, John took over the role of Vice President, Deputy General Counsel – Compliance and Government Affairs. John serves the employees of Waste Connections as the company's lead on compliance, assisting an interdisciplinary team in striving to meet Waste Connections' second stated value of integrity. In addition, John manages the company's government affairs strategy across the U.S. and Canada.
