Johan Kers PhD is the cofounder and CEO of Birch Biosciences. His career to date spans 10 years of experience at leading synthetic biology companies, focused on engineering biological systems to manufacture valuable proteins and chemicals. He is passionate about contributing meaningful solutions for climate change, and founded Birch Biosciences to improve the economics, quality, and circularity of plastic recycling.
