Profile

Thales has been working for the U.S. Commercial Service, a U.S. Department of Commerce Agency, at the U.S. Consulate in Sao Paulo since 2012. He covers Environmental Technologies and the Automotive industry for Brazil. Prior to joining the Department of Commerce, Thales worked for the U.K. Department of International Trade at the British Consulate General in Sao Paulo with a focus in the Life Sciences industry. Thales holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations from the Catholic University of Sao Paulo (PUC-SP) and a professional certificate in leadership from Harvard Business University. Thales speaks fluent English and Portuguese and some Spanish.
