Aubrey is the founder and Executive Director of Eat Greater Des Moines (EGDM), a regional non-profit organization that redefines the local food system to build a healthier community for all. EGDM tests new solutions to long-standing hunger and food access problems to create sustainable change in Greater Des Moines. Aubrey is at the forefront of moving strategies beyond crisis feeding traditions into proactive, systemic improvements to the root causes of hunger. Under her vision, EGDM is involved in local, regional, and national leadership groups on food security, waste reduction, and food access innovations as an advocate, educator, and connector.
