Jenny Johnson is a Vice President and the Director of Waste & Recycling at LaBella Associates as well as a founding member of LaBella’s DE&I Council. Active in the waste industry associations, she is currently Chair of VWIA (the Virginia Chapter of NWRA) and its representative to the NWRA Board of Governors as well as a member of SWANA and SVSWMA. With more than 30 years of environmental consulting experience, Jenny manages a diverse staff of engineers, geologists, and environmental scientists who provide engineering solutions, environmental compliance, operations consulting, and operator training to over 100 solid waste facility owners. She joined LaBella in 1998, and since that time has provided solid waste consulting services to facilities in the South, Mid-Atlantic, and Northeastern U.S. Her experience includes landfill permitting and compliance, negotiations with regulators, groundwater remediation, odor management, landfill gas collection and control systems, stormwater management, and organic waste management. Jenny holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Williams College and a Master’s Degree in Environmental Science and Engineering.Sessions
