Mr. Werner has over 25 years of experience in the engineering and consulting industry servicing industrial, commercial, and government sectors. His experience has focused primarily on engineering services for industrial water/wastewater treatment and industrial fluids and handling systems; and has focused a significant portion of his work on landfill leachate treatment including implementing full-scale treatment systems targeting PFAS removal.
Mr. Werner currently leads the Industrial Water/Wastewater Practice for CEC. His technical responsibilities include both process- and detailed-level engineering: process and utility flow diagrams; material and energy balances; P&IDs and controls; plant layouts, siting, and utility design; equipment sizing and selection; hydraulics analysis; specifications, tendering, and procurement; engineering cost estimating including project control-level budgeting and life-cycle costs; project planning and permitting.
Mr. Werner’s processes experience includes physical-chemical, biological, solids separation, oil/water separation, adsorption/absorption, and oxidation.
