Maurice serves as the Vice President of Operations for Coastal Waste & Recycling. He has 29 years of leadership experience with 14 coming directly from the solid waste industry. Shortly after leaving the ARMY where he served as a Sniper, in the 3rd Ranger Battalion, Maurice decided to pursue a career in transportation by obtaining his CDL and entering the industry as a driver. As his career progressed, he was introduced to all facets of the waste industry, much of which came through M&A integration. In his various capacities, he has provided leadership to a variety of projects including Hurricane Harvey recovery, the City of Los Angeles franchise integration, and the transformation and training from a paper-based operation to a fully digital platform.
