Joe has over 33 years of experience in landfill gas operations and management and environmental compliance in the solid waste industry. Currently the Director - Landfill Gas; hes' responsible for overseeing all aspects of landfill gas operating systems for the company. Focusing on day-to-day operations, construction, regulatory reporting, dewatering, landfill gas data evaluation, and third party and internal resources, ensuring that all aspects of the landfill gas extraction system are operating as designed and in compliance with all federal, state and local regulations and relevant permits.
Additionally, Joe works with GFL's landfill gas development group (GFL Renewables, LLC) and their internal sustainability group to focus on quantifying and reducing Green House Gas emissions through landfill gas beneficial use projects and alternate technologies used in identifying, detecting and quantifying emissions from our solid waste facilities.
