Profile

Ms. Haney, a Registered Professional Engineer, with about 30 years of experience in civil engineering, with more than 25 of these years exclusively in solid waste management. For the City of Lubbock, Texas, she directs the activities of the solid waste department, including refuse collections, recycling programs, landfill operations for both a municipal solid waste landfill and a construction and demolition debris facility. Prior to working for the City of Lubbock, Ms. Haney spent nearly 20 years with the City of Irving, Texas

Ms. Haney has a Bachelor of Science and a Masters of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University.

Ms. Haney serves as a Board Representative/Director - Texas Lone Star Chapter of the Solid Waste Association of North America (TxSWANA) and is currently the Past President for the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA).
