Profile

Mr. Farewell joined Recology in 1983. Since 2017, he has served as Vice President and Regional Manager at Recology’s Coast Region. He directs the operation of a variety of recycling and solid waste management services. Mr. Farewell is responsible for ensuring efficiency and quality service in materials recovery, recycling, residential, commercial & industrial waste collection, and compactor service for the residents, businesses and public entities within Recology’s Coast collection companies. Mr. Farewell possesses over 39 years of experience in the refuse business, including positions as Northern California group manager, general manager, operations manager, and materials recovery facility manager. Mr. Farewell holds a Bachelor’s Degree from California State University at Sacramento.
