Description

Extended Producer Responsibility programs for paper and packaging are beginning to take shape in Colorado, California, Oregon, and Maine. These laws will impact how haulers and MRFs operate and present new opportunities across the states. But for these programs to be successful, the waste industry, producers, regulators, local governments, and other stakeholders will need to closely collaborate. This panel discussion will focus on the implementation cooperation that is underway to make EPR a success, and what the waste industry can expect in U.S. states over the coming years.
