Selin Hoboy join GFL in December 2020, as the Vice President of Environmental, Safety, Health and Compliance for the Solids Division. Selin comes to GFL from Stericycle where she was the Vice President of Government Affairs and Compliance.
She worked closely with all aspects of the business to help provide the best customer service possible while keeping team members safe and ensuring compliance. She has worked collaboratively with regulatory agencies, legislators, and several trade associations to protect the companies’ interests, through national emergencies such as Ebola and COVID-19. Throughout her career she has served on boards, published papers, and most recently was recognized by the National Waste and Recycling Association Women’s Council as one of the Women Leaders in Waste.
Selin was born in Turkey, and currently lives in Alpharetta, GA. BS in Environmental Resource Management from Penn State University.
