Ms. Haney, a Registered Professional Engineer, with about 35 years of experience in civil engineering, with more than 30 of these years exclusively in solid waste management. For the City of Lubbock, Texas, she directs the activities of the solid waste department, including refuse collections, recycling programs, landfill operations for both a municipal solid waste landfill and a construction and demolition debris facility. Ms. Haney is currently siting, designing and permitting a Transfer Station and Material Recovery Facility to enhance and improve overall waste collection and recycling efforts for the City. Prior to working for the City of Lubbock, Ms. Haney spent nearly 20 years with the City of Irving, Texas
Ms. Haney has a Bachelor of Science and a Masters of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University.
Ms. Haney serves as a Board Representative/Director - Texas Lone Star Chapter of the Solid Waste Association of North America (TxSWANA) and served on the Board of Directors for the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA).
