Profile

David is the former Executive Director at SWANA and former Safety Director/General Counsel at NWRA, and started a consulting firm in April 2023. He currently provides consulting services to local governments and companies throughout the US, with a focus on safety. He has provided safety training to more than 10,000 solid waste and recycling employees over the past 25 years, and speaks frequently at industry events. He helps employers improve their safety culture and reduce accidents/injuries through a focus on behavioral-based training. David also provides expert testimony in safety and other cases.
