Dan Christensen is a proven operational leader in the waste management industry with over 19-years of industry experience. Dan began his career in waste management with Republic Services in 2002 as a General Manager. During his time with Republic Services, he managed numerous sites throughout the Midwest and Midsouth regions including operating segments such as hauling, transfer, recycling, and landfill. After his time with Republic Services, Dan founded DC Trash of Illinois, Inc., a waste management company based in DeKalb, Illinois where he grew the business to over $6mm revenue and 30K customers within 3-years. Dan brought the company through a successful exit in 2017. Dan then joined the acquirer, Lakeshore Recycling Systems, as a Regional Vice President where he was responsible for the suburban and rural markets including operation, strategic planning, and M&A.
