Jerry started with the of Broken Arrow in May of 2021. He is responsible for the day-to-day planning and operation of residential collections of MSW, recycling, and Greenwaste. The city currently serves 36,000 households. Prior to his new move to Oklahoma Jerry was responsible for the city of Fresno. He has worked in Public Utilities and in Planning and Development for 20 years. Jerry joined SWANA back in 1995 with the gold rush chapter and was the secretary of the Sierra chapter prior to his move to OK where he is now the safety ambassador. Jerry has a BS in business and an MBA from University of Phoenix. Jerry was a Lead faculty at the Central Valley Campus where he taught organizational development, negotiations, and business courses. Jerry has been married to his high school sweetheart, Katrina, for 33 years and has two sons, two granddaughters and two grandsons.
