Samantha Podgorny is Senior Manager of Digital Solutions for Environmental Solutions Group. She joined ESG in 2019 and has had roles in IT and Product Management. She currently assists their digital customers in leveraging their suite of SaaS offerings. Sam started her career in the waste industry as a CSR for Waste Pro and has held a number of positions that have given her insight into what kind of technology is useful in day-to-day operations. “I’ve never driven a truck or slung the trash, but I have done a little bit of almost everything else.” This year Sam has taken over the role of Vice President of NWRA’s Women’s Council and is looking forward to a great year driving engagement with its members. She is a proud member of the 2022 class of Waste 360’s 40 under 40.
