Stephanie has been working in solid waste for her entire 15-year career and describes the industry as her passion. She spent part of her career working in the municipal sector where she gained valuable experience through day-to-day oversight of the contracted operations of a MRF. Subsequently, she was responsible for contractor provided waste collection services for over 80,000 households. This experience provided Stephanie with the ability to navigate political environments through relations with senior staff and Council. In 2016, Stephanie transitioned to the private sector at Canada Fibers where she was responsible for municipal relations and contract management. Upon GFL’s acquisition of Canada Fibers in 2019, Stephanie became responsible for recycling business development, assisting with contract negotiations and preparation of bid documents. Most recently, Stephanie was promoted to Senior Director – Municipal Services, overseeing municipal files for the company and having responsibility for the preparation and implementation of municipal sales plans.Sessions
