JD Ambati is the founder and CEO of EverestLabs, a rapid growth Silicon Valley artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics company and developer of RecycleOS, the first AI-enabled operating system for material recovery facilities (MRFs), to automate recycling. Steeped in more than 20 years of experience across AI, product development, strategic sales, and strategy – JD saw an opportunity to modernize MRFs to enable the decarbonization of packaging at scale and contribute to a more sustainable environment.
After pioneering prediction engines for automated buying and selling of online advertising, which is widely used in today’s advertising technology industry, JD built an AI engine that helps the recycling industry efficiently and accurately recover more recyclables at lower costs. This has led to better business outcomes for the recycling industry and a path to a functioning circular economy.
