Melinda Sims is co-founder and Director of Product Development at LoCI Controls, and currently focuses on LoCI's emission reduction activities. She is a mechanical engineer with a PhD from MIT, specializing in manufacturing and control systems. She is based in Seattle and has a machine shop in her backyard, for important things like hardware prototyping or laser cutting gingerbread cookies.
